Flight records your data, displays data in real time, and shows lap times.

Flight recording is fully automatic and starts when the vehicle exceeds 20 MPH, then stops when the speed drops below 15 MPH for more than 5 seconds. If necessary, flight recording may be started/stopped manually by tapping on the start/stop button in the upper left corner of the screen.

Lap times are displayed only after the first lap is completed.

Flight displays the GPS signal strength and the Quantum module connection status (when Quantum is enabled in Settings).

Initially, Flight displays the racing type, current location, driver, and car, as a reminder of the current Settings. A single tap on the screen re-displays this information.

For the iPod Touch and first generation iPhone, the use of an external GPS module is required since these devices do not have built-in GPS capabilities. See the MaxQData Quantum section for details.
