I recall reading in an older manual some pins were better suited to a VR speed sensor? Did i imagine this?
I guess the best ones are the P4 / P5 pins? |

I've ended up ordering one of the MaxQ sensors - but would be interested for future reference.... |

The P0-P3 inputs are more sensitive and can work well with VR sensors. Hook one side of the sensor to GND and the other to the P input channel. However, if the open circuit voltage of the sensor exceeds Vbat (the voltage may increase with increasing RPM), then you will probably want to use the P4 or P5 input instead. In this case, hook one side of the sensor to P4P and the other side to P4N (or P5P/P5N). _________________ Ed Lansinger
