I'm leaving for the SCCA Runoffs tomorrow and as I was loading up, I noticed my pocket PC battery was dead from lack of use, which wiped out all my settings & programs.
I downloaded the latest software from your site (V2.6d) and ran the install program. The install program runs correctly, however none of the applications will run. I get the message "MQ* is not a valid Pocket PC application" when I try to launch Chart, Flight, or Setup.
My Pocket PC is an older HP iPAQ running Microsoft Pocket PC Version 4.20.0
I previously ran version V2.6b with no problem. Is the newer version uncompatible with my pocket PC? If so, can I still get an older copy of V2.6b?
Thanks

| Thanks to a private e-mail from Ed, I got it to work. I must of screwed something up the first time I tried to reload the software. I reset the PPC and reloaded the software and it worked fine. |

I bought a complete system that the previous owner hadn't used for a long time, so the batteries were all dead. I charged everything up, download and executed the file MaxQData 32a PPC.exe. Every time I try to execute one of the MaxQData programs, I get a popup that tells me that the program is "not a valid Pocket PC application.
I removed the program, did a hard reset of the PPC, re-installed the program -- no help.
What I have:
Dell Axim X50, running Windows Mobile 30003 Second Edition, version 4.21.1088 (build 14260.2.0.5)

Never mind -- I wasn't reading the web site completely enough. Found this:
We no longer support or recommend earlier versions (Window Mobile 2003 Second Edition, Windows Mobile 2003, Pocket PC 2002, or Pocket PC 2000) because of the lack of satisfactory Bluetooth support, the lack of certain operating system functions, and the lack of Persistent Store memory that survives dead batteries.
I guess I'll have to return it back to the guy I bought it from |

Or upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1.... That's what I'm running on my X51v. _________________ Scott McIntyre - E/SP

I can't find anything on the Dell website that has an update for the X50. Would you happen to have a URL? |
