To determine vehicle slide, slip angle (actual direction vs heading made good) on a generic basis without tapping the ECU for wheelspeed.

Good suggestion. On the MQGPS, it's not possible to determine body slip angle. The MQGPS will give you "Track Made Good", which is the compass direction that the GPS module is moving. But there is no way to determine the difference between where the GPS module is heading and where the body of the car is pointing based solely on GPS.

The MQ200 systems have an option for a yaw rate sensor, which is the sensor you need to correctly determine body slip angle.
